I did it! I went to my first writing retreat!

I learned about story structure, character development, foils, dialouge, maps, editing, marketing, self publishing, and more! The classes were so helpful and I loved that I got to make new friends.

We had plenty of time to write and apply what we learned. We also had time to chat and share our talents!

The scenery was beautiful! I had been missing the Utah mountains.

It was hard, but totally worth it! One of my favorite parts was the first chapter critique/swap. I recieved amazing feedback on my little mermaid retelling that will help me improve!
